Just in case you were living under a rock in Metro Manila for some years and haven’t noticed the mammoth construction site right in the middle of the metropolis,  this  8 -km. elevated highway with a very boring name and which is supposed to make our lives a little better,  is nearing its target completion date, and we can’t wait for it !

Living in the south, the past 2 years had been traffic hell for us, with the highway spilling into the SLEX.   So please forgive us if we would constantly post updates on the progress of this connector road.

We drove to check it out last January 1, so we could see it properly without having to elbow our way through the jams that are a constant sight through this concrete jungle.

So far,  Buendia is almost done, then it gets blotchy from Vito Cruz to the intersection of Quirino Avenue.  From there,  we don’t see much going on. 😦  Guys, please hurry!
